This is a widely recognized principle and It highlights that the most effective mentors, leaders, and teachers continuously learn, adapt, and refine their own knowledge before guiding others.
I am committed and willing to help you develop into a better coach, through mentoring processes and providing targeted learning resources in alignment with a coaching development plan.
As such, provide 3 personal development goals in specific to you as a coach for the upcoming season.

The academy coach is an educator first driven by the development of the player and the person. Our objective as youth developers in grassroots is to provide players with a positive learning environment that infuses a love for the sport. Our grassroots philosophy is focused on the holistic development of the player and person (Player Centered).

Establishing the right habits on and off the field from a young age will set the foundations for the Elite players in alignment with the club’s identity.
As such, provide 3 goals for the upcoming season that you plan to focus on this upcoming season that can be measured against a player’s progress throughout the season.

While in some cases the responses of a coach may be redundant, having a seasonal plan can go a long way and determine the success or failure rate of a program most importantly, the plan is the bridge that connects the coaches goals and objectives with the player/parent.
Furthermore, it is a valuable tool that shows commitment to an end-goal. It is a great way to support player retention and parents see a positive outcome on their investment.
It is my goal to ensure you are well-equipped to successfully deliver on your seasonal goals.
